Join us and Grace Klein Community in sharing hope through the Word of God. We’re inviting everyone to help by writing encouraging Scriptures on index cards to bless and encourage people in our city who are walking through difficult situations. You can even decorate or paint the cards if you'd like! These simple cards can carry hope, truth, comfort, and a reminder that people are deeply loved by God. Even when we may not have the right words, we know His Word never returns void. Mobilize your kids, spouse, neighbors, friends, or small group and help us fill hundreds of cards with Scripture and encouragement! Start with 25 cards and see how many you can create together. Please bring completed cards to one of our locations by Monday afternoon, May 11. Great project to do at home with your kids! Drop-off Times & Location: Monday–Friday | 9am–5pm Or anytime on the front porch of FeedBHM Hoover. Thank you for helping us bring hope to our city through the power of God’s Word. The Lathems in Talladega have a need for a wheelchair/scooter ramp. Both have conditions that this ramp will be a complete and total blessing! She has MS and he is now a double amputee. Along with our Legacy Charity Partner, Interfaith Ministries, your Oxford Campus Outreach Team will provide the materials, and the your Skills Team will do the build. This is why I love our church and charity partners so much: The Lathem's have been approved by a state agency for several months to have a ramp built. But there has been no action on actually providing the ramp. One text Thursday afternoon from Interfaith, an assessment done Friday morning, we will now buy the materials on Tuesday, and build the ramp on Saturday, May 30th! In little over a week, this happens for them. This is how generous our people are in their resources to enable our staff to make the call for immediate action!

We only need 1–2 volunteers each Saturday during the months of May and June. Whether you can serve regularly or just once or twice, your help would be greatly appreciated and make a meaningful difference. We will be making and serving coffee throughout the morning, cooking and serving a simple breakfast, assisting with activities and cleaning up afterwards.
