Come join our First Saturday Serve Family! This serve project is for any age or skill level, just have a heart to serve our elderly. We first huddle at Church at 8 am for prayer and morning snacks to get pumped up to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Then, we commute to the warehouse to assemble love bags that include basic essentials for the homeless and elderly community. We end this serve by going to the Capitol Heights Senior Apartments to distribute the assembled love bags, pray, and encourage those residents. Join us to put together bags of kid-friendly meals and snacks to be distributed at Elementary schools in Montgomery County. These ‘snack-packs’ ensure kids have access to food over the weekends so they can return to school on Monday, ready to learn. It’s a fun way to work together to make a difference. We’ll meet at the church at 8 am and caravan to the warehouse to build the bags

Join us as we come together to prepare 100 bags of groceries for our amazing neighbors in the neighborhoods of Northwoods, Love, and beyond. For almost five years, we have built great relationships with our neighbors and we want to continue cultivating this gift which brings HOPE and leads to lasting life change. This is an amazing opportunity to serve indoors and support the Northwoods Community Night, which brings together two communities to build relationships over a shared meal. We invite you to join us at Manna House at 4:00 pm (2110 Memorial Parkway SW, Huntsville, AL) inside the large garage door at the back of the building. Together, we can make a positive impact on our communities and build stronger relationships with our neighbors. Let's take this opportunity to show our gratitude and give back to those who make our city great. We look forward to seeing you there!

LEADER Dennis Parker DESCRIPTION

The Library at Rocky Ridge Elementary is getting remodeled this summer and they need help moving all their books out of space so they can move the book shelves. We will meet at the top of the hill at the main entrance, we will place them in boxes, label the boxes, and move the boxes to where they will store them until the work is done. Any hand dollies or wagons could be helpful to move the boxes.
