LEADER Januar Brown DESCRIPTION

Join us for First Saturday Serve as we come together to show some love to our local educators with goodie bags! In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, we’ll be assembling thoughtful goodie bags filled with assorted supplies, and handwritten notes to remind teachers just how value they are. Whether you’re crafty, encouraging, or just love to lend a hand, there’s a spot for you on the team. We will have cards to write notes and supplies to assemble bags — just bring your smile and servant’s heart. Every bag packed is a thank-you that a teacher will remember!

Tubman Gardens is a senior living community that also includes disabled adults. In addition to praying with residents that join us at the gazebo, this serve includes door-to-door lunch delivery/praying with residents in their homes. We also offer to help with small tasks in their homes (take out trash, change light bulbs, etc). We will meet by the gazebo near the entrance at 10:30am to pray, go over guidelines, and set up. We begin serving in all areas at 11am. Feel free to park in any open parking space. Come expecting a mighty work of God!
