Join us in blessing the faculty and staff at Weeden Elementary in Florence during Teacher Appreciation week (May 5-9). We like to provide the faculty and staff at Weeden breakfast one morning during that week so they can start their day blessed. We would like to collect monetary donations so we can make the food purchases. You can contact Carol Goss at 256.762.0332 for best ways to donate. Thanks for helping us bless this school so they can continue to bless and encourage the students there.

Join us in serving our community and sharing God’s love at Manna House. Manna House is the food distribution program of the Huntsville Dream Center, a 501(c)(3) public charity. We are volunteers serving our community to meet the needs of those experiencing difficult situations. We serve by prepping meals, serving meals, cleaning, organizing, sharing Christ in a church service, and partaking in joy filled conversations. The Oxford Campus Disaster Response cooking team and First Aid teams will be hosting this training for all Highlands members who serve on these teams and need this training or recertification. It will be held at the Oxford Fire Department training facility at 2022 hwy 78 west Oxford From 8-2, lunch will be provided

Come celebrate Nursing Home Week with the residents and staff of Shelby Ridge 🥳. We will play bingo, serve lunch, and pass out prizes! For the residents unable to attend, we will have gift bags and offer prayer. This is a fantastic opportunity to show the people of our community the love that Christ has for them. Come join in on the fun and blessings!!

Auburn Dream Center, Opelika, Auburn West, Auburn East

We assemble baskets of grab and go goodies for the Auburn, Opelika, Lanett, Reeltown fire and police departments and the Lee County Sheriffs Departments as a sign of our gratitude for the service and sacrifice for keeping our communities safe and secure.

Columbus

LEADER Tiffany Rinaldi DESCRIPTION

Here are some things we will be doing! -Distribute non-perishable food items. -Distribute coats and warm items as available. Pick up trash in the neighborhood -Prepare and serve hot dog lunches. -Prepare and serve hot chocolate or sno-cones. -Pray for the needs of the community. Our specific location has a ton of neighborhood kids that join us! Plan on enjoying Bible story time, basketball, and a playground. We meet at the basketball court at Riverview apartments at 11am to pray, go over guidelines, and set-up. Come expecting a mighty work of God in our community!

Serve breakfast to the teachers at Hidden Lake. While serving we will thank and encourage the teachers as they prepare to close out for the year. Donations are welcomed but not required.

Please join us on Sat, May 10th for our final 2024-2025 school year Buddy Pack serve. We have an amazing opportunity to partner with local elementary schools to assemble food packs(Buddy Packs) for food insecure students. We will meet at Forrest Rd Elementary School by 10am. This serve takes approximately 1.5 hours. Please wear your red serve shirt and if you need one just reach out to the project leader. If you will be bringing a child under 11 please do not count them in the sign up number. You can just email me and let me know. They are more than welcome!

Join the Afterschool Play Group for our Park Clean-Up Day! This is a wonderful opportunity for our kids to serve, learn, and make a difference by helping keep our community clean. After we finish cleaning, the kids will get to enjoy some playtime at the park! We’d love for you to participate with us!
