We are an indoor and family-friendly serve packing hygiene and snack bags for those in need. We will huddle at the church at 0800 where breakfast will be served, and then head over to the warehouse to pack hygiene and snack bags to distribute to our homeless community. Please join us in being the hands and feet of Jesus! 🙏🏾 ❤️
Tubman Gardens is a senior living community that also includes disabled adults. In addition to praying with residents that join us at the gazebo, this serve includes door-to-door lunch delivery/praying with residents in their homes. We also offer to help with small tasks in their homes (take out trash, change light bulbs, etc). We will meet by the gazebo near the entrance at 10:30am to pray, go over guidelines, and set up. Feel free to park in any open parking space. Come expecting a mighty work of God! This community is really excited to see us each month - we would love for you to join us!
Celebrate Easter with us by bringing joy to the kids at King’s Home! We’re hosting a fun-filled Easter egg hunt and spending quality time with the moms and kids. Come help hide eggs, share smiles, and make this Easter extra special for these families! Wear your favorite Easter gear or colors!
Come help pack snack bags for 2 local schools to pass out for children who might need a little extra food at home. This ongoing project is always fun and much appreciated by the schools. Just wear your serve shirt and meet at the church to help assemble the bags, pray for the children, and show the love of Jesus to our community.
Please join us on the second Saturday in April (April 12th) for our Buddy Pack serve. We have an amazing opportunity to partner with local elementary schools to assemble food packs (Buddy Packs) for food insecure students. We will meet at Forrest Rd Elementary School by 10am. This serve takes approximately 1.5 hours. Please wear your red serve shirt and, if you need one, just reach out to the project leader. If you will be bringing a child under 11, please do not count them in the sign up number. You can just email me and let me know. They are more than welcome! Thank y’all!!
