The Women’s Resource Center exist to value life, empower people and see families thriving! We will be partnering with the ministry to provide a family fun day for the clients and their families. We will have a bounce house, food, games and door prizes. It will be a great way to love on the families in our community!

Please join us on Sat. Nov 2nd for our Buddy Pack serve. We have an amazing opportunity to partner with local elementary schools to assemble food packs(Buddy Packs) for food insecure students. We will meet at Forrest Rd Elementary School by 10am. This serve takes approximately 1.5 hours. Please wear your red serve shirt and if you need one just reach out to the project leader. If you will be bringing a child under 11 please do not count them in the sign up number. You can just email me and let me know. They are more than welcome!

Highlands will be at the VA grilling hotdogs and hamburgers for a special tailgate party for the men and women who served in the Armed Forces. If you are a vet, and attend the Grantsmill or Gadsden campus, you can help with this serve by watching the game, or just talking with these men. We will be serving them food, drinks and dessert, and popping popcorn while they watch the Army/Air Force football game that starts at 11.00. In

Trafficking Hope is collecting new and gently used clothing for Fortify Alabama's motel outreach. Both men's and women's. No children's clothing, please. New socks and new underwear are greatly appreciated and needed. Fortify Alabama is a local organization that focuses on raising awareness, providing education, and offering support to those who feel trapped. They strive to reach the most vulnerable populations in underserved areas, ensuring that every individual knows they are valued and have a path to freedom. You can drop off clothing at the address provided, or we are happy to coordinate pick-up. Please just text or call.
