Shoals

LEADER Dawn Moilanen-Lepley DESCRIPTION

Do you have a heart and a passion for those who are hurting? The Help Center is a local nonprofit organization where folks can come to receive food and clothing at zero cost. These folks also come lonely and needing connection with others. Currently The Help Center has just enough volunteers to pass out the food and organize the clothing, but not enough to offer prayer or to spend too much time engaging in conversations. The Help Center is a busy place! Often there are over 100 clients that either drive up or walk in for assistance on any given day. Are you available for 1 to 4 hours on Wednesday mornings from 8:30 to noon to just hang around and be ready to pray or have a simple conversation of fellowship with these folks? If so, The Help Center could use you!! The only thing required is a love for mankind and a passion to help carry the burdens of others. Please contact Dawn Moilanen-Lepley at 615-627-7550 if you are interested.
