This serve opportunity partners with Abel Ministries and the Love & Kindness Community Resource Center to host a community block party the 4th Monday of each month. We will prepare and serve dinner/snacks to everyone who attends. We will also entertain the neighborhood children with outdoor games, like whiffle ball & kickball. This is a fun serve with music, food, games, prayer, and conversation! This event gives the neighborhood children a safe place to spend a Monday night outdoor playing! Time includes set up and take down.

Prayer is our first and last response to the atrocity of human trafficking and the importance of prayer cannot be overemphasized in this fight to abolish trafficking. We will meet for corporate worship and the message during Saturday morning prayer. Then we will meet in the prayer room during individual prayer to pray over the C.A.R.E.S. Prayer Guide.

God at the Kitchen Table is a Riverchase small group that feeds shuts-ins and those in need from the Riverchase campus. We will be delivering those home cooked meals to those in need. Deliver takes less than 1 hour that consist of 1 - 2 deliveries per person.

# 1 FOOD DISTRIBUTION - Our drive-thru site provides food support for children and their families with food insecurity by providing fresh produce, non-perishable food, meat, frozen, dairy, bread/sweets and snacks into the trunk of a vehicle to help feed a family. (Served by appointment only.) VOLUNTEERS ASSIST IN THESE WAYS: - Direct drive-thru traffic - Unload/move/organize food supplies - Package food into boxes for distribution - Record client's visit and make appointment - Load food boxes of into cars/trucks - Pray for recipients while in drive-thru line - Hand out devotions #2 BUILDING AND PACKING CHILDREN'S BACKPACK BAGS Be part of the assembly team that bags 2,000+ children's weekend food backpacks. Join us in our mission in donating the items below: Items Needed: (all toiletries should be travel size – do not use hotel branded items) Shampoo Conditioner Body Wash Lotion Toothbrush Toothpaste Deodorant Kleenex First Aid/Small Item Kits - snack-size Ziploc bags, bobby pins, Band-aids, antibiotic ointment, Q-tips Items can be dropped off at the Alabaster Campus on Sundays at the info desk or feel free to contact me to coordinate pick up!

Our ministry partner, Oak Mountain Missions, is in need of food donations. The need for food has increased leaving their shelves empty of essential items such as: - breakfast items - hearty soups - spaghetti sauce - canned fruits and vegetables - peanut butter and jelly You may drop your donations off on-site at Oak Mountain Missions. They are located at 2699 Pelham Parkway Pelham, AL 35124 and are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm. Or you can arrange a drop off with me.
