Alabama Clinical School for Boys, located in Irondale, Alabama, is a specialized residential treatment facility that provides therapeutic services for male adolescents with emotional and behavioral issues. The school offers a structured environment with various clinical and educational programs designed to address the needs of its residents. These programs typically include individual and group therapy, psychiatric care, and academic instruction, aiming to support the boys in developing coping skills, improving their behavior, and achieving educational goals. The ultimate goal is to help the boys reintegrate into their communities as productive and well-adjusted individuals. The Church of the Highlands Corrections Ministry Team serves at ACS every Sunday and Monday, having a worship service on Sundays at 10:00 AM and small groups on Monday evenings at 6:00 PM. Christmas Wish List CARE PACKAGES – 80 young boys have provided us with a WISH LIST that consists of shoes, clothing, hobby & requests.. The mission is to provide these things to the boys in a personalized package that will also include an encouraging note written by you. Each “Giving Hope to ACS” volunteer will receive the Wish List of an ACS resident by contacting Jonathan Miller via email at Jonathan.miller@highlandsdreamteam.com or by text at 205-577-1716. You will shop and purchase the items, package them in a Christmas gift bag, and tag the bag with the following: ☆ The boy’s name ☆ His hall name ☆ His age We request packages be turned in to Jonathan Miller or delivered to Church of the Highlands – Grants Mill Campus on Sunday, December 7 or 14, 2025, between 9:15 AM and 1:00 PM. LEADER Stephanie Messer DESCRIPTION

Tubman Gardens is a senior living community that also serves disabled adults. This serve opportunity is a beautiful way to bring hope and encouragement to residents through prayer, lunch delivery, and small acts of kindness. In addition to gathering for prayer and connection at the gazebo, teams will deliver lunches door-to-door, offering to pray with residents and assist with simple in-home tasks such as taking out the trash or changing light bulbs. We will meet at the gazebo near the entrance at 10:30am to pray together, review a few helpful guidelines, and get set up. Serving in all areas will begin promptly at 11am. You’re welcome to park in any available spot on campus. Come with faith and expectation—God is moving in this community! The residents truly look forward to our visits each month, and we’d love for you to be part of what He’s doing at Tubman Gardens.
