Southwest

LEADER Valencia Hall DESCRIPTION

In November, Ariyana, her mom, and her brother experienced a devastating house fire. Since then, her mom has been unable to work due to lack of transportation, and Ariyana is now preparing to start her freshman year of college while facing the challenge of not having the necessities she needs. This has caused her stress and distraction at a time when she should be focusing on her education. She is in need of essentials such as bedding (sheets & comforter), towels, toiletries, school supplies, storage items, a mobile TV stand, TV, small microwave, dorm refrigerator — and most importantly, a laptop for her coursework. Any donations, supplies, gift cards, or assistance would be deeply appreciated. If you or someone you know is able to help in any way, please bring the items to be donated to the Southwest Campus of Church of the Highlands.

This is an ongoing, monthly project that will be held the first Thursday of every month at 9:30.

LEADER Joel Banyai DESCRIPTION

This isn’t just about cars — it’s about changing lives. Access to safe, reliable transportation can mean the difference between a child getting to school, a parent keeping a job, or a family reaching medical care. Studies show that families with dependable transportation experience greater economic mobility and long-term stability — and together, we get to be part of that story and BRING HOPE. When time and opportunity allow, we’ll dive into light repairs like tail lights, brakes, and helping finish up ongoing projects that keep our community moving forward. We’ll kick off the day with: 🍳 A hot breakfast 🍩 Donuts, fresh fruit ☕ Coffee and more — because even mechanics need fuel! Helpful Tools to Bring: 🔧 Diagnostic and scan tools 🔧 Ramps and floor jacks 🔧 Impact wrenches for wheel removal 🔧 Your normal automotive tools — and your passion to serve! ⸻ Every wrench turned is a step toward a stronger, more connected community. Let’s serve with our hands, fuel hope with our hearts, and drive real change. See you there! 🚗💨
