We have a beautiful opportunity to meet practical needs in our community by stocking the Blessing Box with everyday essentials. We will play simple games, enjoy meaningful conversations, and host a light brunch to make the morning special. This is a beautiful opportunity to honor and connect with the older generation, reminding them they are seen, valued, and cherished. No special skills required - just bring a smile, a listening ear, and a heart ready to serve.

Join us as we write letters to our extended church family in correctional facilities. Everyone is welcome! It’s a simple way to make a big impact: offering scripture, encouragement, and love to those who need it most. While you’re writing, kids can enjoy arts and crafts — their creations will be sent to bless those in retirement homes.

Early birds needed! This is a community outreach to raise donations to benefit those who have been affected by a loved one’s drinking/addiction. Yard sale will be in the Dalraida Global Methodist Church parking lot from 6:00-12:00.🌞 We need help setting up before the yard sale, e.g, carry and lift furniture. Fill and arrange tables. We will also need several people to work the sale, helping to keep the areas organized and directing buyers to the cashier/check out table. 🛍🛒

In partnership with the Heart of Alabama Food Bank, we’ve identified the top cities in Chilton County with the highest levels of food insecurity. On Serve Day, we’re showing up where the need is greatest. • We will setup this food distribution site at Jemison High School. •We will also host a prayer line (another Serve Day team in the directory) as families wait for food! Let’s shine the love of Jesus through prayer for these families in need. • By the end of the day, we anticipate distributing approximately 75,000 lbs of food in Chilton County through three different sites. We will be a part of something HUGE! • This could mean thousands of families receiving groceries, support, and hope—all in one day. This isn’t just outreach. This is provision. This is mission in the middle. Team Roles in Food Distribution: Setup/Logistics/Flow team Sign-In Team Prayer Team Sorting and Loading Crew Care Team for the crew that is working in the heat! (Distribute drinks, rotate cool-off breaks, etc for teammates) Items needed: pop-up chairs, shade tents, coolers

We will be assisting homeowners with removal of tree debris from recent storms. This serve is for Highlands Disaster Response team members.

We have the opportunity of water sealing and painting an outdoor deck for a couple that have health challenges. They are both lovers of Jesus but just can’t do a lot of extended outdoor work! If we get enough folks, we also need to spray weed preventer around some of the landscaping 

We are moving a veteran's widow into an assisted living facility. She is moving in on July 14, so serve day will be spent moving a few bigger pieces of furniture (table and chairs, dresser, TV, recliner, love seat, desk, etc) If you drive a pickup truck or have a trailer or any other helpful moving supplies, that would be great to have!
