Join the SERVE DAY 2025 RALLY - 7:00am at the Oxford Civic Center (breakfast provided) Pressure wash (5 needed) at the residents housing, also known as Cedar Ridge II. Sidewalks from parking pad area to two of the houses front entrance. This is in the residents upper pavilion area. Clean up tree limbs and brush. Lay pine straw around sign and large trees

Helping with the landscaping (cut grass, pull weeds, weed eating, cut shrubs) pressure wash sidewalks of the school building, washing windows, haul off broken items (will need a trailer for that), pick up broken sticks in the courtyards, put together teacher goody bags as they begin the 2025 school year! For the goody bags, we will be accepting donations Monday - Friday in the OMES main office. (Except July 4th offices will be closed). We are looking for the following items: -Peanut/Cheese Crackers -Bite size chocolates -Trail Mix -Chips -Popcorn -Mints -Pretzels -Protein Bars -Granola Bars

We’ll be working on several beautification projects across their property, and there’s something for everyone to jump in and help with. Take a look at the list of projects below. If one stands out to you, let us know—we’d love to place you on that specific team! Projects we will be working on: 1. Fill pot holes on the driveway. 2. Chicken Coop repairs and weed eating. 3. Fencing and Gate repairs at the Chicken yards. Change Shavings in coops. 4. Paint the inside and outside of the Garden Trailer. 5. Cleaning gutters on Barn. 6. Spraying weed killer in parking lot and fence row of Barn/Arena area. 7. Cleaning gutters at three homes on campus. 8. Landscaping – Spreading mulch and/or pine straw around the three homes on campus. Look forward to serving with you!

Don’t worry—we’ll have a tractor on site to help with the heavy lifting! 📖 Bring a Bible to Donate: As part of this outreach, we’re inviting every volunteer to bring a Bible to donate. We will meet at 2700 Fairbanks St for our Serve Day Rally at 8am sharp with Breakfast! After the huddle Will will head to the specific houses. Useful tools to bring: Drills, saws, and really any trusty tools you use to repair things around your house. We have many tools to share but it is always helpful when people bring the tools they need. And after a morning of meaningful work? 🎉 We’ll celebrate together with a cookout at the annual Kickball Tournament and Block Party hosted by Legacy Center at the Baseball Field in Northwoods — a time to share a meal, swap stories, and build deeper community!

📢YOU ARE NEEDED!!📢 We have a great opportunity to give back to our small, but growing community by sprucing up the front landscape of our Intermediate School! We will be laying two pallets of sod that will be delivered the day before. We will also be weed-eating around the school yard and along the fence line. So grab your gloves, wheelbarrows, weed-eaters, pruners and clippers and let’s meet in the front of the school!! Also, don’t worry if you don’t have any of the tools. We really need YOU to help and we should have some extras for you to use!
