We will be setting out to pressure wash all of Inverness Elementary School's sidewalks and patios. Morning of we will start rally at 7:45 at the top of the hill under the canopy, beside the flag pole, beside the main entrance to the school, listen to a short word from our pastor @ 8:00, identify leaders, and then break into groups. If you have a pressure washer, hoses, blower, and push broom please bring them along, if not, we will have some there that can be used. If you can bring one please let us know, we have several other schools that we are loving on this year and if we can send a pressure washer to another location that would be huge.

Inverness Elementary has a small courtyard that they try to use as a different venue for the kids to help spark learning and creativity, but it needs a lot of love to make the actual match the heart of the teachers there. Due to the location it is difficult to get equipment and materials back in there, but our intention is to bury a storm leader off a down spout, install a railroad tie to act as a wall to help hold back the dirt that will need to be taken from the high-side and filled in to make the table areas flatter, and then bring in pea gravel to spread on the top to keep the kids out of the dirt. We would like to add some pavers in front of the outdoor chalk board, and some picket fencing around some AC units to keep the kids back from them. Bring your gloves, shovels, wheel barrows, rakes, hoes, broom, big drill bit, sledge hammer, etc. Morning of we will start rally at 7:45 at the top of the hill under the canopy at the main entrance to the school, listen to a short word from our pastor @ 8:00, identify leaders, and then break into groups.

For this indoor Serve Day project, volunteers will come together to deep clean Mitchell’s Place Overton location—a nonprofit clinic dedicated to serving children with autism and other developmental disabilities. The project will include washing windows, wiping down walls and baseboards, and disinfecting toys and therapy materials to create a refreshed, safe, and welcoming environment for the children and families we serve. As we work, we’re believing that the Lord will be present in every detail, using even these simple acts of service to bring His blessing, peace, and joy to the hearts and homes connected to Mitchell’s Place.
