Description: Changed Lives Christian Center is a men’s transitional housing community. This is a place where homeless men can get back on their feet, rejoin society, and be empowered to lead productive lives. Our serve project is aimed at building relationships, being the hands and feet of Jesus, hosting a community meal, and making an eternal difference in this community. There will be several projects at the center on SERVE Day with a “block party” atmosphere. You are signing up for the Swag Bag Team!! We are going provide each resident (56 men) with a “swag bag” full of stuff, literature about our Church, ways to get connected, a prayer book, snacks, and a ton of men essentials gifts! We are wanting to put to following items in each bag: Body wash 3 in 1 Men’s manicure set Razor/shaving cream Wipes Loofahs T-shirt Socks (I reached out for donation) Yearly planner (donated) Snacks, protein bars, beef jerky I am sure there are other men essentials not listed, our bags are not limited to the list above. How to serve: Come out on July 12, 2025, donate your time and help us share the love of Jesus with the residents!! Don’t like the heat? Want to participate? Divine fitness is a free gym for teenagers and college age kids. Their director, Willie Strickland, is a trainer and leads these kids. These young people come to work out and get Bible Study and fellowship before they leave. Each week, Willie feed over 50 kids at the Bible Studies. Over 250 kids and young adults have been baptized in a galvanized tub right there at the gym! Would love for you to be a part of this ministry! We will need people to help clean the gym.
