Key Focus Area: Restoring Dignity Behind Bars On Serve Day, we are assembling 2,000 hygiene packs for women in correctional facilities across our region. These simple items offer far more than cleanliness—they communicate care, dignity, and the reminder that they are not forgotten. “Every bag is a message of hope, packed by hand and sent with love.” The Box & Pallet Team (Leader: Charlie Church) will handle box building, staging, stacking, and wrapping of prepared boxes. These boxes will need to be filled with assembled hygiene kits and then loaded onto pallets for transportation We will huddle in the Alabaster foyer at 8:45 am.

We are heading out to a local school! We’ll be pressure washing the concrete entrance located at the front doors (covered area), pulling weeds, adding pine straw and trimming shrubs at the front. It’s a great opportunity to give back, work together and make a visible difference. Come ready to get your hands dirty and show some love to a local school. Please wear your red Serve shirt and meet at the front of the school.
Share God's love with children around the world by packing gifts into shoeboxes. Church of the Highlands is generously providing all the gifts to fill 600 shoeboxes for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child. These shoebox gifts present opportunities to share the Gospel around the world. Volunteers are needed to pack shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, and school supplies inside the Trade Center on July 12.
