LEADER Justin Dorroh DESCRIPTION

The Chapel is a historic church in Sheffield, Al built in 1891. They have services on Sundays and run a soup kitchen ministry on Wednesdays feeding on average 80-90 meals for the homeless each week. There are some sidewalks and other concrete areas that could use some attention. Bring your water hoses and pressure washers and let’s make it look brand new!

We will be serving Smith Middle with organizing and cleaning classroom while cleaning up the exterior with cleaning and landscaping.

Grandview

LEADERS Reid Armistead, marguerite armistead DESCRIPTION

Restoration Academy is a Christian school in Fairfield for elementary, junior high, and high school students. We will serve this community by painting some of the classrooms and touching up the walls in the gym. Outside, we will work on some landscaping, hedge trimming, and gazebo fixing. We will have leaders from Highlands College and from several small groups in this fun multicampus serve.

We will write notes of encouragement that will be distributed to patients at local hospitals and possibly nursing homes. We'll huddle at the campus and then start after!

House of Hope and Restoration. We'll meet at the office complex at 7:30, eat breakfast, huddle, and then head to Brundidge to paint the front porch of our home. Join us!

We’ll be filling in the gaga ball pits with crush and run. On the morning of the project, we’ll kick things off with a rally at 7:45 AM under the canopy at the main entrance. At 8:00, we’ll hear a short word from our Pastor, identify group leaders, and then break into teams. If you have small tools, gloves, safety glasses, or wheelbarrows, please bring them with you. We’ll also have some tools and gloves available on-site for anyone who needs them.

Join us as we serve at CSM warehouse; we will be opening boxes, sorting donated items, and separating them into large gaylords (bulk bins) for distribution. Volunteers will help categorize items, dispose of packaging, and assist with general organization. Some lifting may be required, so please wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. This is a great opportunity to make a hands-on impact in a fun, team-focused environment!
