Join the SERVE DAY 2025 RALLY - 7:00am at the Oxford Civic Center (breakfast provided) The sister of the Baber brothers, who faithfully serve on the Skills Team, needs a safe way to get in and out of her house. So, that’s where we come in! Always great to help people but especially some that we consider our home folk!!
Come serve your neighbor by providing a weeks worth of food! Help us sort food and load cars. We are serving over 700 families each Saturday morning! This work is fun, family friendly, and rewarding! We are outside so dress accordingly. There are also opportunities to park cars or pray with clients. Call me with questions!
Help us make over a 100 beaded bracelets for ladies in local nursing homes. These bracelets will wrap around their wrists making it easy for them to take on and off without assistance. We will add the message that Jesus Loves You, along with candy and a card with the bracelet. Will gather at Grantsmill in the Highlands kids area.
We will be cutting back overhanging limbs, trimming bushes, blowing rocks off a play area, clearing leaves from outdoor stages, cleaning up fallen limbs, adding soil to planters, pulling weeds, and weed eating. Morning of we will start rally at 7:45 at the top of the hill under the canopy at the main entrance to the school, listen to a short word from our pastor @ 8:00, identify leaders, and then break into groups. Please park in the lower parking lot away from the school. Please bring whatever small tools, weed eaters, blowers, gloves, safety glasses, wheel barrows, you think you might need, but we will have some small tools and gloves available for you to use.
We will write letters to our extended church family in the correctional facilities. Come touch lives for Christ & make a huge impact on another person's heart while instilling hope in Jesus. We use a structured ESPN process so writing is easier than you think. You'll be blessed writing even 1! Children and Youth (<18 yrs) welcome to come draw or write encouraging notes for the correctional ministry as well. We will meet at the Grandview Campus. You’ll see Serve signs! Questions? Come join us in serving Forest Avenue Academic Magnet! Be a part of something impactful as we come together to serve the staff and students at Forest Avenue by cleaning out and revitalizing the school courtyard along with enhancing other key areas around campus. Our goal is to transform an overgrown, underutilized space into a vibrant and functional outdoor environment designed for student learning relaxation and connection. This newly improved courtyard will serve as a welcoming extension of our classrooms, providing students with a peaceful space for outdoor learning, reading, collaboration, and exploration. Your time and effort will make a lasting difference in creating a more engaging and inspiring environment for our school community. We hope to see you there! We will meet at the church at 7 AM on Saturday. The address is 4255 Taylor Road. We will have breakfast and a quick devotional there before we break out to head to the school and let the fun begin. If you cannot meet at the church come straight to the school. The address is 1700 W. 5th St. Montgomery 36106.
