Join us as we assemble 600 shoeboxes for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child to be sent to children in remote, underserved areas of the world. For many of these children, this shoebox is the first gift they have ever received and presents an opportunity for them to hear the Gospel. Please help us show them God's love. We will have several ways in which to serve… Shoe Box Assembly - Assembling the boxes in preparation for packing. Inventory Management - Overseeing and restocking items to be packed in the shoeboxes. Packing – Filling the shoeboxes with predetermined items. Quality Control – Inspecting each shoebox to ensure all items are present. Loading – Packing finished shoeboxes into larger shipping boxes and loading them on the trailer.
This project will consist of three teams working together to create an experience where we give away gas to people within our community! We will be utilizing a gas station near the Southwest campus. When cars come through we will provide a certain amount of gas for them! The three teams will be prayer, traffic (directing cars), and then the gas pump team (being at the pumps to either pump gas or talk with people in car.
We will meet for huddle at the Riverchase campus at 7:30. We are looking for folks to help run waters, lunches and other needed supplies out to all of our projects. We will encourage our Serve Team and can also offer lunches and waters to any neighbors we pass by in the community. It would be helpful if you could bring a cooler or 2.
Join us as we help the Compass Dance Academy (CDA) refresh their campus. This family-friendly project will have everything from cleaning and organizing to landscaping and yard work. We will rally with the Newnan Campus and then head over to CDA in Tyrone, GA. About Compass Dance Academy: Compass Dance Academy’s vision is to mentor each dancer to reach their full God-given potential and release them to use their gift locally and around the world.
The After Party is a place where we come together to celebrate all that God has done on Serve Day! This is a come and go style gathering where we eat a fun meal together, share stories, wins, and talk about how we can continue to impact the lives of people and our community for the rest of the year!
