Here are some things we will be doing! -Distribute non-perishable food items. -Distribute coats and warm items as available. Pick up trash in the neighborhood -Prepare and serve hot dog lunches. -Prepare and serve hot chocolate or sno-cones. -Pray for the needs of the community. Our specific location has a ton of neighborhood kids that join us! Plan on enjoying Bible story time, basketball, and a playground. We meet at the basketball court at Riverview apartments at 10:45am to pray, go over guidelines, and set-up. Come expecting a mighty work of God in our community!

Come join us as we reach out to the Southside Homes community showing the Father's love. We will show acts of kindness by giving care bags of toiletries and offering prayer. All volunteers will adhere to the CDC social distance guidelines. We will provide gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer for each volunteer. We will first meet at the Southwest Campus, 1021 Academy Drive, Bessemer,  AL 35022 at 8:30 AM for huddle, prayer, and assembly of bags. Proverbs 18:16 NIV‬ "A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great."

We will go door to door in communities sharing the love of God with others. We will meet at Through The Grace of God Ministries in Clanton beforehand.

Come help pack snack bags for 2 local schools to pass out for children who might need a little extra food at home. This ongoing project is always fun and much appreciated by the schools. Just wear your serve shirt and meet at the church to help assemble the bags, pray for the children, and show the love of Jesus to our community.

Help recently divorced lady after a tough few years. She is needing help with clean up and some ceiling fans and lights being replaced and cleaning up debris left in the wake of the changes in her life Gutter leaning and minor yard work.

Please join us on the second Saturday in March (March 8th) for our Buddy Pack serve. We have an amazing opportunity to partner with local elementary schools to assemble food packs (Buddy Packs) for food insecure students. We will meet at Forrest Rd Elementary School by 10am. This serve takes approximately 1.5 hours. Please wear your red serve shirt and, if you need one, just reach out to the project leader. If you will be bringing a child under 11, please do not count them in the sign up number. You can just email me and let me know. They are more than welcome! **We will be missing several of our regulars this month so if you are able to come 30 minutes earlier (9:30) to help us prepare, it would be greatly appreciated 😁 Thank y’all!!

Come journal, pray and fellowship with ladies of the Downtown Rescue Mission. Share Jesus’ love into the their spirits. Bring a few journals or notebooks and colored pens to give them.

We are going to be out at Safe Harbor RV Park in Riverside on March 1st from 10:00-12:30 giving out hotdogs and chili to the community there! Eimi and Carson Clark have started streaming Highlands services at the clubhouse at the RV Park, so this is a great opportunity to serve our community over in Riverside, pray with them, and invite them to the clubhouse for church on Sunday!! I am looking for a few Dream Teamers to prepare some crockpot chilis! If you’re able to help out with that shoot me a text 205-910-6751 so we can nail that down!
