LEADER Keely Wright DESCRIPTION

The Chosen is a powerful series about the life of Jesus. We will be sending books and DVDs to Powerhouse Church In Piura, Peru. Pastors Jose and Kathryn Lopez are from Katy, Texas and have been sent out to be Missionaries in Piura, Peru. They have started a church and currently building a orphanage and autism therapy center. We will be purchasing as many books as possible of “Jesus Loves the Little Children: A Chosen Story (EN Espanol) for Pastor Lopez to distribute in Peru to reach as many children as possible. We will also be purchasing The Chosen: Devotional Book 1 (En Espanol) for the adults in Peru. This is a great project if you are not able to serve physically on July 10th. Please contact me if you are interested in Purchasing any of these books for Powerhouse Church in Peru.

Hope Place provides shelter for women escaping abusive environments and they have several needs to make this a comfortable experience for this women. Your donations can be dropped off at the SERVE booth during Sunday services. The wish list is below. Bedding: 1. Pillows 2. Twin size blankets 3. Twin size metal bed frames (at least 6) 4. We have a great opportunity to serve and give back to our retired veterans by helping with their annual barbecue. We will help serve these veterans food, visit with them and participate in a raffle. All activities will be outdoors. You may want to bring a hat and water.
