Hey Shoals family! Our very own Cindy 'Mickey Hands' Young is leading the charge at the Florence Help Center to provide holiday-specific bags of groceries to recipients! We have the opportunity to help them as they help others by donating any of the following items at any time through the month of November: canned black beans, pinto beans, kidney beans, chili beans, sweet peas, diced tomatoes, taco seasoning packets, children's snack foods, & paper towels. If you'd like to support this cause, just drop of your donations at the Help Center on Monday, Wednesday, or Fridays, anytime from 8:30-12!

This is such a fun team! Boxes have been filled with the pre sorted inventory from the serve day the week before, so between family visits we access inventory and replenish based on gender and ages. It’s a busy bee kinda serve and we have the best time! This is a great serve for a super engaged teen as well!

Wellstone Inc. is a local mental health facility that serves individuals and families all over North Alabama. The Nova Center is the children’s section of Wellstone that serves children from ages 4-18. Join us as we bring this center back to life and create a clean, calm, and inviting atmosphere to The Nova Center! We will be cleaning, organizing, and painting therapy offices, classrooms, group therapy rooms, and their Pre-K play room. If you would like to donate sensory items for their sensory/calming room donations can be dropped off at the Highlands Huntsville campus anytime during the week between 9am-2pm or Sundays by contacting Nicole Nuwayhid at (256)503-2171
