LEADER Tiffany Steers DESCRIPTION

Adding “warmth” to someone’s life by collecting NEW or “GENTLY USED” (& laundered) coats, jackets or heavy hoodies for all ages in all sizes. Drop Off & Collections will be every Tues. in Oct. from 4:30-5:30 pm or Sunday's after the morning services in the Gazebo at the J. Craig Smith Rec Center. Details of distribution of coats will be at the Nov. 1st Sat. SERVE DAY. More info. TBA

We will be painting a deck, building a small wheel chair ramp and hauling of aluminum cans to be recycled.

Join us as we serve a “grab and go” breakfast for the families of Ridgecrest Housing. As we continue to practice a safe environment for all, we will have opportunities for prayer, fellowship, and meeting needs for the Our House community. We will also have projects in and around the properties such as repair, painting, landscape and upkeep.

Red Mountain Grace is a local non-profit who provides short term housing for those receiving care from our local hospitals. We are moving one of our apartments from the third floor to the first floor and are in need of movers to help.

Collecting new toys and gifts for ages 0-18 typically around $20 and up. For every gift we will purchase a faith based book explaining the true meaning of Christmas. Donations will be collected and given to Bighouse for the Santa’s coming to town event in December. Gifts can be dropped or mailed to 2278 Core Drive Auburn Al 36830. We need as much help as possible to demo a roof and prep it for Saturday Serve day! If you are handy with tools and not afraid to get a little dirty, this demo project we will an absolute blast!

We will be gathering and delivering furniture for Ms L who has moved into an apartment and is in need of furniture before her breast cancer surgery this month. Any home furnishings are needed (pots pans, dishes, etc). You may contact Kristen Elliff or Kim Scott for more info.

Drop off goodies for gift bags that our sidewalk missionaries will give to moms entering abortion clinics. Bags also contain info about Christian pregnancy centers, the medical mobile clinic, and other helpful, gospel-based resources to help her choose life and discipleship instead. Items needed: Individual small packets of tissues Trial/small size hand sanitizer Boxes of single serving sized packets of cookies Individually wrapped candies Trial size hand lotion Chap sticks Anything small and comforting Pink paper gift bags Money Donations for printing flyers/labels for gift bags

We will be feeding lunch to the Lineville Nursing home staff on Thursday and Friday- in order to cover all employees! We will deliver food to the facility, help set up, and provide prayer journals/Pray First bracelets to the staff members.

We will help serve food and any other projects they will need help with that day! If you want to bring any non perishable food items, diapers, ziplock bag, or to-go containers they are always appreciated and will be used .

Grandview

LEADERS Anna Bynum, Brad Boyd DESCRIPTION

We will be serving a man living out in Center Point who has experienced several break-ins in the past year, while also trying to move his elderly mother in to the home with him. We will be replacing sliding glass doors with a more secure exterior door, adding security bars to windows, installing a window AC unit, and some yard work to clean up the front of the house. If you are skilled in any of these areas, or just want to come out and serve with us, we would love to have you!
