SafeHouse of Shelby County is a nonprofit organization that provides numerous services, including shelter programs, to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. We are hoping to bless the shelter residents during First Saturday Serve in May with some “baskets of joy” to help brighten their day. Often, survivors are focused on preparing to transition from shelter and do not want to splurge on these self-care items for themselves. We are in need of: Hand lotions Body scrubs/washes Loofahs Nail polish Chapstick or lipgloss Face masks/skin care products Hair clips or hair ties Journals Gift cards for purchasing above items Items may be dropped off on Sundays at the information desk or please contact Cassidy Redding at 205-983-2119 to arrange for pick up.
