His Hands and Feet Street Outreach is a multi-church outreach, started by Nathan Jordan, that is focused on serving the practical and spiritual needs of the homeless in our community. Below is a summary of the outreach from Nathan. I was prompted by the Lord to start His Hands and Feet Street Outreach. I and some friends from two churches go out bi-weekly to camps across Huntsville, handing out sack lunches and praying with those who will receive it. We are striving to form relationships and remember people's names, as both are very important. We do not hand out money, but if we can meet a need within reason, we do so. We also do not take pictures of the camps, because although it is a sad situation, where they live is their home, and it would be intrusive to take photos that may cause embarrassment. We seek to honor the Lord in all we do. My hope is for His Hands and Feet to include multiple churches with a singular focus of serving Christ. We can use help financially, with prayer, food prep, and boots on the ground. I would encourage you, if you're interested, to join us at least one Sunday so you can see the ministry firsthand, and have a better understanding on how to pray on how you would like to participate, if you feel led to do so.
