9-11 AM ON MARCH 16! March 16 is Florence’s annual City Clean-Up! People and organizations will be working all over town to pick up trash along the roadside in order to keep our beautiful city clean! This is a great opportunity for us to invest in our community and a great serve project to get your children involved in! We will meet at the church office at 9am where a City of Florence truck will bring us breakfast and supplies (trash bags, gloves, safety vests). Then we will pick up roadsIde trash in the areas around the Marriott/Conference center. This is a 2 hour serve but you can serve just part of it if you prefer. We will leave our tied trash bags along the road when full and the city will pick them up at 11 ish. You are then welcome (If U want) to attend the clean up day rally at the coliseum at noon where all the collected bags will be placed into one giant pile as a visual representation of the difference this clean up effort makes! Please sign up via the app ASAP so I can let the city know how many supplies we will need!
